Lyndsey Serres - Coach/Tomball Division
Former Texas A&M soccer player from 2009-2013, 4 year starter. Won 1 Big XII Championship in 2010 and 1 SEC Championship in 2013 with 4 NCAA tournament appearances making it to 2 Sweet Sixteen appearances in 2009 and 2013. Took part in the U-17 and U-18 Regional team in High School and made the National Pool her senior year of High School. Graduated with a degree in English and concentration in Education in 2013. 2 years experience coaching U11-U13 competitive soccer teams as well as helping coach several classes of Hot Shots a semester during her 4 years playing at A&M. Lyndsey taught 3rd grade for 3 years and in her free time would do private soccer lessons. She always deeply missed soccer and coaching during her time teaching. Which lead to her reaching out about an opportunity to expand Hot Shots (the organization she first coached at and fell in love with) in the Houston/Tomball area. She is so excited to coach and lead the Tomball area Hot Shots! It has always been a far-fetched dream, that is now a reality and she can’t wait to share the game she loves so much with your little ones!
Aaron - Coach
Aaron has a deep love for kids and soccer! Aaron played soccer all throughout highschool, and played at LeTourneau University for a year, where he was named offensive MVP and made 1st team all conference. Aaron has a heart for kids, he has been a camp counselor every summer for the past 8 years at Camp Blessing (a camp for kids with special needs) and Pine Cove Kids Camp. Aaron has also severed as a program director for Pine Cove, for the past 3 summers and will continue to do so this upcoming summer. Aaron is fun, energetic, and encouraging, we are so excited to have him coaching with us this season!!
Megan Morant - Coach
Megan's passion for children and soccer is unmeasurable. Megan played competitively for Challenge Soccer Club for 7 years as a defensive mid and goalkeeper. She also played throughout high school at Klein Collins where she was on Varsity for 3 years and captain for 2 years. She went on to play at the collegiate level for Schreiner University for 2 years as the starting goalkeeper. She earned Defensive Player of the week honors as well as making SCAC Honorable Mention in 2014. On top of her playing experience, Megan has coached for All Star Soccer Camp for 4 years during her summer breaks and worked for uScore Soccer. She is currently finishing up her Bachelor degree in Elementary Education at Sam Houston State University, hoping to pursue a 1st grade teaching position upon graduation. Megan is thrilled to start coaching for Hot Shots this season!
Peyton - Coach
Peyton absolutely loves ministering and caring for kids through sports. She's been on multiple mission trips to Mexico, the Dominican Republic and inner city Houston doing sport camps for kiddos of all ages. She has played soccer all throughout high school and is a state champion and runner up state champion for her club soccer team. Peyton has volunteered multiple times at Camp Blessing (a camp for special needs kids) and adored every moment of it. She looks forward to what God has planned for her next. We are very excited to add Peyton to our Hot Shots coaching team!
Courtney - Coach
Courtney grew up in the area and played club soccer for Challenge and Rush Soccer Club. She also competed in the Olympic Development program at the national level. She was a 4 year varsity starter at Klein High School where she was the leading scorer over the entire city of Houston and was chosen as one of the Dynamo top 11 female players. She was elected as the district offensive MVP twice and first team three times. Courtney continued her soccer career at Berry College (a NAIA school in Georgia). At Berry, Courtney started games all four years of competing, was leading scorer 2 years in a row and was elected 2nd team all conference. Her team at Berry won their conference 3 years and competed in the national tournament. Upon graduation, Courtney taught elementary art and advanced reading alongside coaching soccer at Northland Christian School. She coached for NCS at the middle and high school levels. Her middle school team won a district championship and her high school team competed in the TAPPS 3A state championship. Courtney is now a mom and is looking forward to coaching her daughter and other children at Hot Shots!
